With its sweet flavour, the excellent eating characteristics of the endeavour prawn has ensured its favour in Asian, Mediterranean and local markets. This species is usually sold whole as a frozen at sea pack either in bulk weight trawler carton or as a small pack. The species is has a coarse texture shell and is caught in smaller sizes, ie. 10/20 or 21/30 prawns per pound. |
