This product is factory processed, graded to fine levels and finger laid for presentation with zero tolerance for rejects. The prawn has the carapace (head Shell) removed with all body shell segments and tail remaining. Designed to protect, preserve shelf life and facilitate freezing the 2 Kg of net weight product is rapidly frozen surrounded by ice in a plate freezer. Block frozen product has a much longer shelf life than dry frozen product which can suffer from dehydration problems and discolouration. Each master carton contains 6 x 2 kg blocks. |
